Laiken Gallis, MS, CCC-SLP

Laiken is a speech-language pathologist at Honeysuckle Speech Therapy who specializes in speech sound disorders and literacy. She has a special interest in childhood speech sound development, and how this may later influence reading and writing skill development. Laiken emphasizes family centered care, recognizing that parents are our best therapy partners. Parents are always encouraged to be in attendance as active participants in each therapy session. Laiken strives to incorporate each child's special interests into the speech therapy process to build engagement and learning through play.

As an ASHA Certified speech-language pathologist, she has gained experience working with children and adults across the lifespan, in various clinical settings, including private practice, local school districts, acute and post-acute care. Laiken holds an active ASHA ACE award for advanced continuing education achievements. At Honeysuckle Speech Therapy, Laiken specializes in her clinical interest area: pediatric speech sound disorders.

When she is not in the clinic, Laiken enjoys North Idaho's many beaches and outdoor activities, as well as skiing at the many local mountains.
