Marissa Dunham, MS, CF-SLP

Marissa Dunham, MS, CF-SLP is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist at Honeysuckle Speech Therapy in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, where she is passionate about helping children build the communication skills they need to thrive. She provides compassionate, individualized care and is committed to helping children communicate more effectively and confidently in their daily lives.

Marissa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from the University of Montana before completing her Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Washington State University. During her clinical training, she gained valuable experience working with children with a variety of communication needs, including language development, social-pragmatic communication, literacy skills, and speech-sound disorders. She strives to create a positive, engaging environment where children feel supported, motivated, and empowered to reach their goals.

Marissa believes that successful therapy begins with meeting each child where they are and building on their unique strengths. She works closely with families to develop personalized treatment plans that encourage meaningful progress both in and out of the therapy setting.

Originally from Silverdale, Washington, Marissa recently made the move to the Coeur d'Alene area and has quickly fallen in love with the beauty of the Inland Northwest. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys exploring local trails, trying new restaurants, baking sweet treats, and spending time enjoying all that the region has to offer.
